Phew!

Well thankfully it's the weekend! It has been a looong week and just so hard to get back into routine after the Christmas holidays! School uniforms, packed lunches, homework, nursery, trying to arouse 4 sleepy children every morning when it's still dark! Trying to get my body clock to realise that it needs to switch back to early nights to enable early mornings has been so difficult this week. So I have decided to erase this past 5 days and claim Monday as the retake :-) Monday is the day when everything will click back into place, the day that the junk stops being eaten, the kids become less "screen dependant" and usual daily tasks become easier. (well that's the plan!) But for now, it's the weekend! And although this means various clubs for the kids, it also means a bit of family down time too :-)

So....... My name is Debbie, I have been married for 12 years to Robin and we have 4 kids! Ben is 13, Erin is 11, Mia is 6 and Noah is 4. We live in Glasgow, Scotland. I am very lucky to be a stay at home mummy! Although sometimes this job can be tiring, frustrating, repetitive and thankless.....I would not change any of this for the world!! I love being a mum, I love seeing the steps my kids take, I love watching them grow and develop and become the characters they were born to be! I try to be the best mum I can, but really, I suppose I do what a lot of parents do....go with my instincts and muddle through :-)
